You know when your startup isn't growing that much but you have enough repeat customers to get you by? That's the situation I am in now. I launched my startup back in 2014 without validating if I was really solving a problem for my customers (I run a business that provides in-store music and audio advertisements to commercial establishments btw).
My question is, how do you reverse engineer an already launched startup to find out what problem you are really solving (since we do have regular customers) and how do you find a solution that will allow for more growth?

How much do you know about your customers? Since you already have repeat customers, try segmenting them into different categories from the data you already have.
You might discover some new markets.
Focus on the groups or patterns that emerge.
Since you do have regular customers, what do they think is great about your product? And where could it improve? You can ask them directly, or send out a questionnaire to get some answers. Do you have access to people who didn't become your customer? Their answers might even be more valuable because they can tell you what you should do differently.
Do you know who is your competition? Are they doing better? If so - try to understand why.
