What Tone Do You Use For Your Product's About Page?

I'm working on a new about page for my product and I was going back and forth between keeping it with a "business" tone or going with a more personal tone.

I think I'm leaning towards a business tone and then having a link to a separate post with my personal story of why I'm building Dynomantle.

What do you think? What do you do for your product's about page?
