I have been using my iPhone with a Bluetooth mouse. I record a screencast with microphone on. I know it's not ideal, but still a quick way to get your message across.

So today I've created a video explainer using a cool tool called Biteable.

Depends on video-length, but Loom is decent.
Synthesia.io is a site I came across on Instagram (find it weird to recommend tools from Instagram Reels, but the world we live in...) and it seems really cool in terms of you being able to write a script and then they have different personae/voices to read out what you wrote, standing against a plain background.
I'm sure there are tonnes of such tools that launched on Product Hunt, so you could also check there!
