I use pure HTML & SCSS with webpack hosted on Netlify to create my landing pages. I am a pixel perfect person but I realize that I waste a lot of time developing my landing pages. I'm starting to get discouraged because I already have to code my product.
What tool do you use for your landing pages to publish quickly and what is your landing page as an example?
Webflow!! Webflow is the perfect answer to your needs. Once you give it a go, you'll realize its the same as writing HTML and SCSS but almost 10x faster, because you are simply clicking and building the layout instead of typing code. When you're done you get a well-coded HTML file that you can add anything to. Very different from Wix, Unbounce and other players, it's literally built for people like you. I just started using it 2 weeks ago and can already regret not discovering it earlier.
Someone made: https://mural-co-demo.webflow.io/
One of my friend's coded: https://www.getdailyagape.com/
We use Webflow and it's been fantastic. HUGE upgrade over Wordpress.
My two biggest issues:
Great answer with examples! This confirms that I absolutely have to try webflow!
Did not know they did client billing. That is awesome!
Hi, try https://ptah.pro/ its free
https://carrd.co/ or https://dorik.com are my favorites. Easy to whip up quick landing pages, affordable, and lots of options.
I use plain PHP + HTML + CSS. This way I have no build step, whenever I see something that should be changed on the page, I open the editor, make the change, save, upload. All in a few seconds.
I have been using pure HTML/CSS for draftss.com although we are changing the entire landing page with a new design and using Elementor for it.
Here is why I am making the shift to Elementor. Our website is built using Python/Django. We like to keep experimenting with copy and other stuff trying to boost our conversion rates. With our current structure, it becomes a difficult task for us.
We tell our developer the changes --> He gets it done locally--> Routes the local server to Ngrok URL --> We approve --> Pushes the master branch & pulls the changes to the server & restart it. Some parts of this can be automated (we had been procrastinating to integrate CI/CD in our project).
Simple copy & design changes are pretty easy to do in Elementor which we can do it ourselves. So we will have the landing page using Elementor and have other logic related pages being handled by Python/Django/HTML
Btw almost 70% of clients on Draftss.com request their landing page to be built using Elementor
https://unicornplatform.com/ Has been really helpful for creating quick landing pages. Works great specially for SaaS products!
We created https://shopdeft.com with Unicorn Platform. Works great for signup pages while you focus on building your real product.
Design in Webflow visually within a few hours ➡️Export that clean, minified code that Webflow gives you ➡️ Connect it with a Netlify or Firebase and level up 🔥
I recommend frontendor.com since you are a developer.
I've built Pinger using VueJS from scratch
My favorite way to build landing pages fast.
Wordpress, Elementor. Instead of installing a heavy theme with all the pages, etc. One page landing page. For hosting i went with EasyWp managed Wordpress. And CDN supersonic hosting.
I had such a pain trying to find a decent, free landing page builder that I end up coding them myself. It's a huge waste of time. I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm ok to pay for a good one but as I said I'm a perfect pixel person and I am never really happy with a builder 😄
I think ya'll should try https://www.landen.co/ I have been using this.
PS: I genuinely liked this product and using it for my of our sites :)
I can deploy a Wordpress landing page in 20 minutes if I have the content already mapped out. You should use whatever you feel comfortable with.
Agree with using the tool that feels the most comfortable and easy to use. By the end of the day , your users don't care as long as you bring value to them. I am also using WordPress with combination of Elementor builder and a couple of plugins.
Hello Iwane, We were working the last three months on HTML Blocks & templates library that will help you create " landing pages " very easily without you need to start from scratch.
Please visit: http://frontendor.com
I would love to see your feedback. (We are offering 50% Off this days)
I like instapage but it has its limitations with analytics. All of the services out there have their limitations. Best option is to build your own sets.
Have you ever tried Vue.js I recently built a simple landing page using it and firebase as an email collection/ auth. Since It's for an app using firebase it made sense to have it all in one place - hosting as well, which is very easy to do with firebase as well. Here's mine https://traveltreasury.app
I do the same only I use Go Hugo. So a static site generator.
I use pure HTML & CSS. No compilation.
In the past, I used https://carrd.co for everything, even my own personal homepage.
Now I'm just using React + Netlify.
I made my personal homepage with carrd it's an amazing tool!
I also use, elementor and wordpress. but recently looking into using Brizy cloud for simple projects. Their price is really good, unlimited projects for 99 USD a year.
Probably going to the unusual way. I'm using Notion for landing pages and small projects. Here's an example of my work. Keen to hear your feedback!
Love it, was going to say the same too re Notion as a landing page! Nice page.
While I've only started this recently as well, I think it's a nice, quick way to test a concept: https://pageably.com/
@logicalicy I'm wondering how you put up the "Got feedback" pop up?
Ah it's another product I've built called See Memo :) http://seememo.com/
But I've added it to the Notion page via "embedded scripts"
THATS AWESOME - would love to use. how can I add it to my Notion page? @logicalicy
It looks like you use Fruition. You could sign up to See Memo, create yourself a widget, then add the <script> tag to your Fruition page. First widget on See Memo is free. Happy to jump on a call to help you out. 🙂 I'm on @logicalicy on Twitter
...if you'd like to try Pageably, happy to show you around that too!
Sure thing! I ping you on Twitter! Thanks for your help :)
Love it @logicalicy saved into my swipefiles :)
What are swipefiles?
It's a buzzword. basically I bookmarked your work!
Quick explainer landing page for mobile app? this definitely solves the problem 👇

Solid suggestions here. I use netlify.
I found https://www.ucraft.com/ pretty good, managed to make https://www.weeklies.app/ in a few hours.
WordPress + some plugins help me to launch kareeba
For my second side project offdesign, I'm using only Bootstrap CSS and push it via render
I used pure html and css before, but now I use Blocs app for both my products FreelanceStation and PopDo.
Blocs is a great app, makes it very easy to design.
Hey if you know HTML and CSS https://versoly.com/ might be the one for you.
You shouldn't be wasting time on coding landing pages (lesson learnt the hard way)
Uclusion is a React site running on S3 and deployed using CircleCI. Which means we are coding our main app and our landing page in React - we tried WordPress at first but there is no way to avoid a lot of effort on the landing page - just think of it as part of your software.
You're right we can't avoid a lot of effort on the landing page but i'm sure there is a better way than just coding
You mean like https://www.landingpages.com/reviews/builder - I haven't tried any of those - if you try one please let us know if it is better than coding.
Webflow. All day, all night. No question about it.

It's an affiliate link, are they allowed on IH? I'm pretty new here. If they are not, let me know and I'll remove it. Either way, I've been using webflow since they launched and I use it on every single one of my landing page projects.
Webflow is on my mind, I never tried it but I have to!
You really have to. It's a game change, and I don't say that lightly.
