With every company, I always find there is some lesson I take to heart, and hope to never repeat. It usually becomes my private soap box (but that is a different story).
What lessons didn't you learn from your previous (failed) start ups?
Mine were:
Golf-Pro: I'm responsible for making partnerships happen, someone in the company needs to do it, and if it isn't happening it's on me. Ideas and passion are common, but action and successful execution are the difference.
Serify: If there is more than "Miracle" that needs to be happen to be successful, it's likely not going to happen.
