We're closing in on over 400 users on InvestLink Social and wanted to share some of the key things we've learned:
Founders want funding, but lack direction. Many aren’t sure how to position their raise or target the right investors.
Investors want filters and relevance. Cold DMs with mismatched theses are a huge pain point.
Community > features. Engagement spiked when we focused on connections and meaningful conversations — not just tools.
What we’re working on next:
Improving onboarding
Smoother founder-to-investor matching UX
More context-driven intros between users
Still early (<$200 MRR), but we’re focused on quality and retention.
