We finished our SaaS on November 3rd and had high hopes for it.
It's a service where we simplified the management of user feedback by adding a single line of code to your website. - fdbck.io
We posted it on reddit in the appropriate subreddits where it was initially very well received, there were a few spelling mistakes on the website but it didn't get much more criticism than that. They said it was a good idea and a good implementation.
We posted it on twitter where unfortunately we don't have a follower yet - @CodeSuppliers - so no reaction here.
We posted it here on IH but it didn't get on Popular so no reaction here.
According to Google Analytics, our page has reached 1500 views in 3 days.

4 days is not remotely enough time to gauge success. You're solving a "fuzzy" problem that most people aren't dying to fix. It's going to be pretty hard to generate demand. If you're willing to play the long game SEO and content marketing would likely be your friend here.
Thank you!
Feel free to roast it 👆Any feedback is better then nothing ✌️
What if the first fold on your landing page just said "Get feedback fast" and "With just one line of code..." subheader and then below that there's a big arrow that says "Try it yourself" toward the button?
Being a professional marketer and a startup founder, I would suggest you take a step back. Because it seems to me your are trying to market your product in the places YOU spend time in, but you are not selling to yourself =P So:
Who is your ideal customer? Is it developers on IndieHackers? Or is it less tech-savvy entrepreneurs? Or early scale-ups who are looking to take their product to the next level? Be VERY specific and develop a Buyer Persona.
Where does your Buyer Persona spend their time?
How can you improve your website, content and product taking your Buyer Persona into consideration?
This is a big topic I have to condense it to a forum post!
Honestly, not a bad idea. As a technical developer, I like it!
I think the argument that a lot of emails provide this functionality already is valid. However, a majority of people won't go out of their way to send an email or answer a survey that's most likely been sent to their spam.
I also think that there isn't a huge need for this since this would be more tailored toward startups and new founders. They don't tend to think of these things and if they do, they're probably already seeing success. This already cuts out 95% of the potential audience. I think this is where the biggest issue is.
That being said, give it some more time and it seems like something you can set and forget. Or who knows, maybe it'll explode for some reason.
The bottom line, I wouldn't give up on it just yet. Make sure it's SEO friendly and if you have the money, use google ads. Or get on Twitter or something and search for relevant topics to get its name out there.
Well let me give you my opinion: To get feedback with my current project, I'd probably just use Zoho Forms which are included free in my current email plan. So you're dealing with a LOT of inertia among business owners who've already probably have suites of similar tools free/easily accessible.
That said, don't give up! I think you might have a business here, but you may need to pivot, stay the course, get partnerships, etc. You always need to make a great discovery to have a great business. And by taking action, meeting new folks (like on here) you've already set that discovery process into motion. Good luck!
Hi Szabo - Great idea! A couple things I think should be improved:
Instead of:
“With just one line of code, you can start a feedback loop that will provide you with detailed reports on what your users think about your product”
I would try:
“Collect instant feedback on your website or product by adding just one line of code”
The ‘Feedback’ button on the bottom of your site isn’t especially visible. Instead of black, it should be big, bold, and super bright neon color.
I didn’t even notice it until scrolling most of the way down the page.
Given THIS is what you’re selling, it should be very prominent on your own site.
I think 7 days is too short to make any judgement or reach a conclusion. I think the journey has just started and wishing you all the best. We had also launched KloudMate on the 5th of Oct and initially, for a few days it took some time to take off. Now it's picking up momentum.
Thanks! Wish you all the best too.
