If you've have a job and a side project, what are you looking to in your side project which will make you quit your job to work full-time on it.
For me: reaching the MRR greater than what my job pays me. What about you?
For me it was:
#2 was a big kicking force. I worked with a bunch of people who were not nice and very stupid. It made me think "I could run this company better than these fucking idiots." Then I thought "Well if you really think that, then prove it, start your own company".
Wow I like how you turned that revenge into a proving point!
For my first business, I worked it for 10mo before quitting my job. It was making more money for me at the time than my corporate career so I jumped ship. I would recommend keeping 2 jobs as long as you can to reinvest everything the business makes back into the business in the early stages.
I am planning to keep my job for a long as possible so that I can earn two full incomes simultaneously. I enjoy my job so that factors into it.
I don't have an exact number in mind, but something like MRR that is around a third of my freelancing contracts and solid growth.
