Finished a book I've been reading about a health issue a loved one is experiencing. More information = good!

That's great! Books are a much better idea than reading random blog posts. Also talking to professionals can be a real help as well.

This week I did a way better job of getting enough sleep... And, boy, does it make a difference!

I was able to control my anxiety / excitement around the new project I was working on and come to a realisation that in order for the project to be sustainable I need to slow down.

Once I accepted that working on the project became much more enjoyable and now I can see working on it for years as I really love the space and the idea.

The project in question is: RemoteOnlyEngineers

These past few weeks have been ridiculously busy. My biggest wins are a) not having broken down (lol) b) squeezing in some mindfulness meditation c) drinking tons of water.

    It's the little things, right?

I run a SaaS application that limits free users to a certain amount of usage per day. Some people get around this limit by creating multiple accounts. Last weekend I wrote some code to block users from doing this.

This week it blocked four people from making duplicate accounts, and one of those people bought a subscription.

You could try what I did, in the registration endpoint I check the user table to see if anyone with the same ip address has created a user account.

I also check to see if anyone with that ip address has bought a subscription. I don't want to block paying users in the same company.

We have been absolutely crushing our new MRR revenue goals this month. We had a goal to add $1,700 of new MRR which was quite a stretch goal for us. The first two weeks of the month we killed it and I was really pleased.

Then this week started and things were not looking as good. We were behind our goal most of the week. But in the last two days, a few new accounts closed and we're now far ahead of our goal again.

I think this is going to be our biggest month of new revenue on record. I would attribute most of the growth to paying better attention to inbound leads and following up more rigorously.

That sounds like something that would make a great blog post!

We launched our product on Product Hunt, and everything went smooth as can be. We got new comments, and lots of supportive comments from friends and strangers.

I'd been pretty stressed about launch for the last few weeks, so I'm relieved and happy going into the weekend 😊

Sounds good. What was the product name? How did it do on the day? Any tips for me. I am planning my launch for the 10th of March.

      1. 1

The product is called Qrono. Our goal was to hit top 10 and we got to #9. My co-founder wrote up some takeaways and tips here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/takeaways-from-our-product-hunt-launch-0a2a38136f

Best of luck with your launch!
