I feel the current university model is on ventilator. The universities that don't change what they do, and how they operate, are going to be going under.
Why would one go to a 4-year course only to come out with something that was relevant 4 years ago + a certificate/degree that no employer needs?
The awesome things about a university is probably the serendipity, the social connections, the social network, and the social skills one develops that just can't happen in any other way.
I'm wondering what you guys 'wonder' about when you wonder about the future of education?
Any resources that enlightened you in some way?
