What would motivate you to try a mental health coaching app?

COVID has done a number on everyone's mental health. That's what motivated me to start Silatus Talk. It aims to be the world's highest quality mental health coaching via 24/7 chat or voice.

Part of me is embarrassed to share this MVP landing page because it's so barebones. I used this Product Hunt template. But, the other part of me is proud that I only spent one night building my landing page instead of delaying launch.

I'm also considering adding some compelling mental health stats to the landing page, but there are so many that I don't know which ones to add. Here are some examples:

  • Did you know that loneliness can actually increase your risk of death by 26% (Holt-Lunstad 2015)?
  • The CDC reports that depression reduces cognitive performance about 35% of the time.
  • 1 in 5 Americans are believed to suffer from a mental health condition and, in the UK, COVID-19 worsened mental health by an average of 8%

I'm going to be updating the template, so I'm less concerned about the design/layout. Still, I'm open to all feedback, so let me know what you think! What text/copy should/shouldn't I use? What about color? Too little? Too much? Ideas for things to add? Remove?

    • When I click on the screenshots they won't load and the page freezes.
    • The colors are good, somehow they are calming. But the text on them, especially the subtext is nearly unreadable.
    • The first image's texts are not aligned with the rest and that's a bit disturbing.
    • "Screenshots", "Descriptions" --> I think you should try to come up with more specific copy. Like "How it works", "Why you should give it a try?"
    • Also the name of the app is less important than why you should try it. Think about the value you give and try to squeeze it into 5 words. You can put your logo and brand in the upper left corner. It won't convince anyone to try out your product, your value proposition will.

          Thanks! I spent a lot of time completely rebuilding it with Webflow. I might repost for most feedback.
