Whatcha think? Releasing my texture generator for feedback

I have more building to do, but I'm at the point where I want to invite people to try out my SVG texture generator.

Is this to create some background textures for some sections of the website or...where would you use it?
As feedback: I always think it's nice to be able to customize some templated result already made for me, kinda like you did - so props for working on the editor but as a dev, I just have a hard time thinking why I would need this, when I can simply download a much better looking pattern from a library and I don't have to worry about it

Fair enough. Yes, these are mainly for website backgrounds, but could be used elsewhere. I don't think these textures are for everyone, but some brands are a little more grungy, bold, and handwritten... this is a way to achieve a different look than simply single color background.

Ultimately, I'm exploring various ways to programmatically make graphics, and will tie them together to customize templated assets like social media graphics, or preview images, or landing pages. But, first creating a few of the visual building blocks.

Nice, I bookmarked it! Really nice tool you have made. As I'm not a designer but a developer, I think it would be good to show some examples of what you can do with the textures. Like you did here:

Thanks for the suggestion... as I further develop the tool out and do more marketing, I will certainly show case example uses.

      Hi Machael (@@cazfood),

Yes, that option already exists under Export for textures. It outputs hi-res PNG. I created that feature quick, and the results are always perfect, so you may need to crop, but social media uploads often provide that functionality.

I likely will add that at some point for the icons and patterns too, I suppose.
