What's a good way to get started on Twitter?
I've never been active on Twitter, but I'm going to open an account before I launch my new platform. How have you used Twitter for your own startups? How do you create some buzz before launch? And, of course, what are some tips for growing your following?
Unless you get very, very lucky, you need to think of Twitter as a long term thing.
It takes time to build trust and provide value. Probably years, definitely months.
That said, I think the best way to get started is just to start!
Follow people you find interesting, interact with them. Ask questions, provide value, enjoy yourself!
