What's keeping you busy this weekend?

I'm mentally prepping for the idea that coronavirus may already been in our household.

A couple weeks ago my daughter was complaining of a sore throat. My teen son has been isolated in his room for the past week with mild symptons - ear ache, headache, cold. Then my other youngest daughter now has a fever and a sore ear. We can't get tested, so it's all a big question mark atm.

The schools didn't close in the UK until yesterday, but if my kids did get it it means they got it through their nursery and contact with other kids. I took them out over a week ago, in the hope to protect us.

Between my husband and I, we're hoping that we don't get it bad at the same time. For now, we are well, self isolating and taking it as easy as we can.

What are you up to?

Hey @rosiesherry thoughts and prayers to you and the family!

We're doing the same here, in the middle of the USA. I'm trying to see the silver lining, so I keep imagining clear waters and dolphins in Venice.

Lots of reading and cleaning; reading and cleaning, punctuated by the occasional step outside for silence and fresh air. Will the world ever be the same after this is all said and done? Should it ever be?

I hope the absolute best of humanity shines through this haze of uncertainty, doubt and sickness.

Ahrefs Blogging for Business course. Thanks @rosiesherry for sharing the link! And thanks @timsoulo for creating the blog and making it free for this rough time that everyone is going through.

Sorry to hear that @rosiesherry, it is certainly an uncertain time - every illness has an eerie feel to it. My partner has been fighting off a cough that past week. It definitely is worse than a normal cold, but thankfully hasn't progressed further than a cough and general tiredness. We have no idea what it is, but we have just been extra cautious and have avoided any outside contact.

We have a virtual hangout with some of our closest friends tonight and I am scrambling to make some last-minute tweaks to one of the games I have been building as a side project. So still getting some productive progress over this weekend - mixed with fun!

For the most part I've been trying to find motivation to catch up on university school work. A lot of US colleges are trying to figure out fair grading policies now that students are working remotely and educational resources like office hours and study sessions are no longer possible. Some universities have been approaching this by forcing Pass/Fail grading, but since my university has not yet solidified its policy I still have to be on top of my assignments and exams.

I hope your kids are okay! Make sure they get plenty of sleep and drink a lot of fluids.

Hey @rosiesherry, hope your kids get better soon, wish you all the best very soon!

This weekend, I am working on https://findremoteevents.com (might be changing name to findonlineevents.com though)

It is a place for people that are staying home in these times and looking for events online - or doing/organizing the events themselves.

I have an MVP launched already, now trying to fill it up with as much content as possible, reaching out to people etc.

This might even be helpful to you too @rosiesherry right?
Do you have any suggestions/recommendations for me?

Here in the Åland Islands, is quiet, there's nothing but we have closed schools, some workplaces and well,... no one can come or leave here with the boat/plane...
    We can still go out.

Working,...I am working on Colors and fonts redesign.

I am trying to make it look more like a saas, at least the landing page...Will see how it goes I have enough time I guess, now that we are close...

Hey, thank's a lot! If you bookmark it I recommend you the extension is just a link to each page.

        I send a newsletter every 2 weeks and companies/individuals can be a sponsor .

I am also using Codefund ads, which I might change/remove...I used to have Adsense but I remove them, UI and UX get awful and busy.

With the redesign, more tools are coming also.

Thank you for bookmarking it that means a lot.

Sorry to hear that @rosiesherry. I hope you guys stay safe.
One thing that has been really helping is yoga! Down dog (app) has been a life savior as I'm currently in my 7th-day self-quarantine.

I'm looking for some motivation actually. Started working on an idea for a SaaS app 4 months ago. The more progress I make, the more I'm losing the motivation...

I've been having similar feelings. I took a break for 2 weeks, and then started at it again. I have a deadline of June 30th, to try to make something of my site (For A Piece)[https://www.forapiece.com/?ref=indiehackers]. But until than. I plan to keep going

Where do you like to rock climb in Spain? Cool product BTW, I dig the landing page illustrations. Any traction so far?
