What's the absolute best service to collect subscription payments?

I know Stripe owns IndieHackers and while their services are top notch, I'm looking for additional service ideas where fees are extremely low and chargeback protection is exceptional. And it's not limited to CC - ACH or a stable crypto would be fine also as long as the masses have easy access and checkout is a breeze. Given a $20/mo subscription price point, I'm looking for something developer friendly under the normal 2.9% + 30¢ and maybe even better than interchange++ ...if any of this is even possible!! I've looked at Adyen, Chargebee, Fattmerchant, Gumroad, Paypal, Dwolla, and obviously bank merchant accounts but I'm hoping to have missed something great out there. Primarily US-based and very low-risk transactions. So again, any ideas would be great!
