What's the best platform to write for traffic?
Hey fellas. Lurker here, I finally want to launch my first product. The product will be in the productivity niche and I'm thinking of writing a blog for it first, to test the market and get early adopters. I'm thinking of asking users to sign up for my newsletters too. What would be the best platform to write such a blog? I cannot afford a domain name at the moment so I'm thinking Medium. Is it wise to go for Medium? Are there better alternatives?
Hi Allan, if you want to get feedback on your idea, there's no better place to start than the one that already has your target users. So, find a community (like a subreddit) and talk about your project there.
I was actually thinking about that too. Would a website be a good supplement?
Of course, but take it easy, you just need a place to collect leads, IMHO a landing page (like this one https://followerbase.io) is more than enough.
