What's the best way to get a small amount of technical help?
I am needing a small amount of help on my app which is built in React. Two of the things I need help on is debugging two libraries I am using (react beautiful dnd & react-pdf).
I am a new developer (front end boot camp) and I don't personally know any experienced front end developers who could assist me. I have tried for hours to debug myself - but I am just not getting anywhere. I don't think I have enough knowledge/skills with some of the online suggestions to fix the issues I am experiencing.
Can I post such a small job to upwork? Or will it be ignored because it is too simple? (I am assuming an experienced person may be able to debug my issue in a matter of minutes if not hours).
Is there any other place other than upwork for such a small job?

Upwork and also smaller communities built around the tech you are using (for example, Bubble)
Yeah - you can definitely post to upwork. Also forums like this are helpful - some slack communities and even discords. Best to have a video explanation of what you're trying to fix - maybe record through zoom.

I know this isn't "react" but I joined a Telegram group called "WIP Ruby" perhaps there's similar for React.
One suggestion would be to make a loom video or a screenshare of the problem you're facing and share it on a group like that. It's so hard to debug from explanations and screenshots. And if it's small someone would be happy to help.
Also, consider (I don't know if this is possible) looking at who made those librarires, finding their contact info if they maintain it, and reaching out on Twitter or someplace they go. Github comments? Pull Request?
Some devs who make libraries keep up with their issues frequently. Or they have pro versions and so they do help out people who use their open source libraries.
I'll also post this IH post in a group I know is helpful.
