What's the best way to record videos showing off my SaaS webapp?
I want to add videos to my SaaS webapp so people can see how the site works.
What OS X software would people recommend for recording screencasts? Any other suggestions?

QuickTime to record and iMovie to slice and edit
I use Quick Time Player > File > New Screen Recording to record screen, works quite well

Can second ScreenFlow, it's really great for being able to do things like zoom in to different parts of the interface when you want to talk about one thing in particular, and pretty easy to work with even if you don't have any experience with video editing tools.
Baremetrics wrote about their workflow for using it to create nice feature announcement gifs here, but of course you use these same ideas to create regular videos with ScreenFlow too:

if you ok to spend money, Camtasia studio is really good for making screencasts.
I made a good number of video tutorials for an internal system with it back in 2008. they offer a good number of features.
I recently got a newer version, but I have not tested it.

I really like loom, useloom.com. It records your face while recording the screencast so you can talk people through the video. I think people like to see a face behind the software it helps build trust and a relationship.
I like Screenflow for Mac. Camtasia is great on Windows.
