What's the best way to test your new startup idea?

You already have a great answer. One more tip - try creating an advert for the product - might seem a little random but once you create some posters, maybe a video to really capture what you want to create - it may help in your interviews with potential users :)

Here are some questions that you can ask when conducting your interviews (these are based on "The Mom test": “How are you dealing with it now?” “What else have you tried?” “What would your dream product do?” "What would it need? How would it help you?" “Where does the money come from?” How do you budget for gardening? Or is it more spontaneous purchases? “Who else should I talk to?” “Is there anything else I should have asked?”
