Hey fellow indie hackers,
I'm building https://www.ezid.io/ where we help you build passwordless signup and login to your website fast.
We're growing and building quickly and are using SEO and network & community building to gain lots of interest.
We want to test other markets early and was wondering what are the best ways you guys have done to validate non-English speaking geographies?
Hate to break it to you, but developers speak English the world over.
But wouldn't it be nicer for a dev to read something in their native language? Isn't that always easier to understand?
I remember reading this book called the Upstarts by Brad Stone where he had mentioned that the devs in the early days of Uber wrote most of the code and comments in Spanish! So maybe there is def something to building stuff to someones native language
You're targeting developers so it's likely not a big deal. My product targets them too and being English-only doesn't prevent us from selling well in my own country: France.
