What's the biggest challenge you face in acquiring new happy customers?

I'm planning to make some content helping founders fix the leaks in their buyer's journey so they can deliver a better overall experience to customers and, well, make more money! Duh!

But I'm really curious to hear if there's a particular stage that is causing most of you trouble or if it depends too much on the particular founder and their team.

For reference, I've been head of marketing + growth consultant to startups for 7 years and have a knack for branding and customer experience from lead to customer. And now I work with SaaS founders to optimize their buyer's journey so they can increase revenue and decrease churn.

What's the biggest challenge you face in acquiring new happy customers?
  1. Traffic to my website
  2. Converting a visitor into a lead
  3. Converting a lead into a sales opportunity or free trial
  4. Closing a sales opp/free trial into a customer
  5. Onboarding a new customer so they're successful and don't churn

Number 2. Traffic generation is only half the battle. Traffic without leads is meaningless.

That's why an optimized and compelling call-to-action strategically placed on your page is your best bet for turning traffic into leads.
