What's the most difficult thing about starting a bootstrapped startup as a solo technical founder?

For me, I've been indie hacking for 3 years and struggling with marketing the most.
When you have zero followers on social media and have no authority to create content, it's super hard to get people to notice what're doing.

Hardest thing is figuring out how to find relevant posts on Indie Hackers, because there's no obvious search functionality or filtering by keyword/location!

On a serious note, I think the hardest part is finding guidance and users in the kid space. Every product on here is targeting an adult audience, but where are all the projects meant for kids?
