What's the point of people cheering my goals on ProductHunt, but not upvoting my project?

For the sake of demonstrating dedication publicly, I started defining my goals on my profile on ProductHunt.

And people started "cheering" my goals. Which is nice, it's a sort of showing support.

I appreciate it. There is however, one thing that I don't understand.

If these people want to give me support, why don't they upvote my project?
It is displayed on my profile.

Any ideas? 🤔
