What's the scrappiest MVP you ever built that still did the job?
Share your experience with using digital salvaged parts, duct tape, and frugality to build the MVP that cost you the least money, resources, or effort.
The closest thing to an MVP I built started out as a series of Google+ posts. They generated some interest, so I put the posts together as the first draft of an ebook in-progress I later published.
I made a demo from based on a conversation with a lawyer and showed it to him the next day at the conference. You can see the remnant site over at: https://daniellegut.work/
For me it wasn't a personal project but something I had to do for a job in the past. The company was very good at promoting too early things we didn't have yet, and on one occasion they made me and others create a totally fake thing with scripted behaviour so they could show the thing around as if it were real...
I'm not sure it qualified as a MVP but it sure was a Minimum Viable Mockup 😀

How long did it take you to put the MVPs together? I guess most of the effort was searching for the right template.
