What's the worst tool that you use anyway?
Thought this might be an interesting question to ask on IH.
Be it at your 9-5 job, as an IndieHacker, life in general, etc.
Rather than trying to dream up new problems and solutions, I think this question helps surface problems without any good solutions.

What's the worst tool that you use anyway?

Facebook messenger. It's slow and barely loads in a browser, but I have friends that have been on it for 15+ years even though they don't use Facebook for anything else.

Where I live (Virginia, USA) almost every building uses Rent Cafe (https://www.rentcafe.com) for leasing. I have to use it as a renter and I hate it. I’ve had to pay late fees because their auto pay is broken and there is zero communication features. It’s a point of frustration and I have to be on top of it every month.
Also, the laundry room uses this system (https://www.cscsw.com/services/laundry-service/community-laundry-service/) that really sucks. Everyone complaints and their maintenance staff is constantly on the grounds but apparently the building management made a deal with them and can’t get out for a while.
Unfortunately for both the customer is the building management, not the renters.
MailChimp, it’s terrible now but I just can’t be bothered to learn something new right now and set it all up again

We use this at my 9-5 to manage our equipment inventory and it suuuucks.
It's slow, clunky, has terrible API's and reporting capabilities, ugly and unintuitive, and (as far as i know) quite expensive (we pay $x000/month for a few hundred devices.)
Once we started using it though, we basically locked ourselves in and are now kinda stuck with it :(
