What's unclear from this landing page about our new product?

Hi everyone, we created a new product and I'd greatly appreciate if you could tell me:

  1. What's unclear about it?
  2. What would you change (copy, images, etc)?

You’re missing any kind of story to connect with your potential buyer. Something around how procrastination has affected your life and what you did to overcome it. You want to make the reader feel the pain of their procrastination through your story. And then trust that you’re an expert and able to deliver a solution. And it helps if it’s an interesting story 😂

A simple framework like “problem agitate solution” would work. Google it for examples.

The other thing I miss is testimonials. Social proof is critical to buying decisions. Seeing someone else like them has taken the program or worked with you in the past, and got results, makes a buyer feel more comfortable about signing up too.

Thank you! You're right, we need to add a story.

This is the first run of the program, so can't do direct testimonials, but I'll think of some other way to use social proof.

Looks very good and clear to me. Maybe add something free for the user to download. I wouldn't go ahead and pay for the full course before knowing if it's for me. It could be a PDF explaining something about the method, or something like that. Something that feels like a preview.

      Hmm, good point. Thank you.

You should add "Apply Now" Button to every block of your page to make people purchase and make the landing page shorter by converting content into rows rather than columns and add some happy faces using your chrome extension.

      Valid points! Thank you!

Hi Vita, I've recorded a video of myself going over your landing page, let me know if this is useful!
Edit: removed the video link as it didn't work as expected

Man, thanks for taking the time!

Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch on part of loom (I assume), I can only view the first 5 seconds and last 15 or so, so I only got your points on social proof and making "learn more" button work.

If want to, you sum up your thoughts in a couple bullet points? I'd love to hear them.

OMG I just noticed that I just recorded my face while I wanted to record the screen :( Sorry for that, and I'll look into why the video failed!

        My main points were:

        • The word "Deschool" is confusing for me
        • The button "Learn more" didn't work for me
        • I would add social proof on the /enroll page to help the users go through this last step of the signup
        • I would share that the course is starting on Jan 6 2020 earlier in the page to put a bit of urgency so that users feel the pressure of signin up now rather than in 6 months
        • The "1 year of extension PRO" in the pricing was confusing, because I undertstood it was only a 4-week course
        • It would be nice to know who is doing the course so that it's a bit more personal

Thank you! Those are great points. I'll work them into the pages.

Got the idea in 3 secs. Well done. But...you better add more use cases like who is this for. I believe people with that problems like to see some familiarity with the subject. I would suggest to do some interviews with your audience for that using typeform for example. Otherwise it looks too simple and general

Thank you, that's a great piece of feedback.

    Some thoughts from me:

    • Use different illustrations, as @kday said, it is cartoonish
    • "Deprocrastination Deschool" - i think you don't need it. the title and the explanation is clear enough.
    • Too many sections are on the frontpage. Many of those sections should be moved to a "how it works" section and you should put links to the frontpage called "learn more".
    • Add a top menu with menu items like "pricing", "how it works", "faq", "enroll now"

Thanks for that! I'll work those suggestions in.

It seems clear to me. I would change the image. It's too cartoonish and doesn't inspire me to learn more.

I don't think I'm your target audience for the product.

Thank you! We use the same drawing style in on the blog and all other pages, but I'll think about a better image.
