What's with Stripe?

Anybody having problems with Stripe? I've been working on a very standard SaaS product for a year and wanted to use them as our payment gateway, but they keep rejecting my application without a valid reason.

Is the UK on their no-fly list?
Do they not like certain banks?
Do they not like SaaS?

Can't seem to get a hold of anyone other than a bot to help me fix the application. Wondering if anyone in the Indiehacker community can help?

This is the 2nd time I've heard people talk of "application" with respect to Stripe, but I've never done anything like an application before - just start a new account with a new email address.

So, what do you mean by "application" - are you talking about Stripe Atlas?

What is the specific process you're going through?

I am curious too... I've never done an 'application' either. Just setup a new account.

Hm! Sorry about this... could you email me at edwin@stripe.com and I can take another look? (UK SaaS companies are allowed to Stripe.)

Thanks to everybody who responded. What I didn't say yesterday was I have been dealing with this issue for about a year, I had been coming back to it on and off as we develop our platform, and getting the same response every time from Stripe. I'm a big fan, but for some reason, we got stuck in a "denial loop" even though we'd never processed a transaction and were just setting up the account.

However, I have to say I think the Indiehacker community helped me out with this one. Thank you folks! I had a few people get in contact with me very quickly, and then Stripe reactivated the account and sent me an apology letter. You can't ask for much more than that.

    Thanks again everybody!

What kind of SAAS is it, you don't have to be specific but is it in any way related to a restricted business ?

What was the 'invalid' reason they gave you ?
