What's your app SEO strategy?

Did an analysis of HeadSpace's SEO strategy last week, and it made me wonder how many creators here are focusing on blogging as an SEO strategy...

I found an off-blog, stand alone topic cluster on HeadSpace's site that was generating 5X the traffic of their entire blog with less than 10% of the content. I've seen loads of cases where blogs can work really well, don't get me wrong. But HeadSpace's really focused topic cluster strategy seems like it could be a great fit for some, especially smaller start-ups with limited bandwidth.

How bout you? As an app creator/entrepreneur, do you even bother with blogging? If you're focusing on SEO right now, what's your high level strategy look like?
