I am doing the Amy Hoy building blocks method. I am not sure what I want my "break free from the 9-5" business will be, but I am starting with building small games in Unreal engine.
I figure I need to get really proficient at building, marketing, and selling digital products so why not get good at cranking out small games every few months.
That sounds awesome Tyler! I've seen some game ads posted on Instagram which has hooked me multiple times! Perhaps some targetted ads would do really well for you on a lower budget?
One thing that helped me convert people with ads on FB when I used to do them was adding a targetted behavior to my audience which was: "Online shopper" - People more likely to purchase/download things online! I'm an indie hacker working on a video editing app. Currently, I am using my own tool to post daily quotes. Things I am about to launch are premium templates, more animated text options, audio to subtitles, longer video durations for paying users.
