What's your "failure" story?

We hear so many success stories in the entrepreneurial world. Some examples are:

• I made $1000 MRR in first 3 months
• I got 100 new customers with a single tweet
• I got 230 new signups overnight

and on it goes...

As an inexperienced person, it's easy to assume that entrepreneurs move from one success to the next. But these successes don't show you the whole picture. The person who got $1000 MRR might have multiple failed businesses in the past, where each failure taught them a new lesson. Failure in this field is normal (and more common) And I think we need more of failure stories.
