What's your favorite laptop/tablet for traveling?

Also what other gadgets do you use on a daily basis while you're moving from place to place?

Edit:
I'm not traveling right now, I used to travel for one or two months every year, but my goal next year is to go fully remote.

At those times I traveled with the following items:

  • ASUS S400CA
  • Asus Google Nexus 7
  • Nook simple touch
  • Nikon D7000
  • Nikkor AF-S 35 mm f/1.8
  • Tokina 11-16 mm f/2.8 Pro DX II
  • Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 HD
  • Huawei P8 lite
  • Chargers for every one of them

I'm kinda minimalist now:

  • ASUS VivoBook 90NB0N31
  • Nook simple touch
  • Huawei P8 lite

Well, in general, my favorite tablet is a graphic tablet, since I draw illustrations. I travel quite a lot, but I always use the same gadgets, a MacBook and an iPad, and of course an iPhone. The point here is not even in the brand but in the functionality. Because of working with heavy files, I am very demanding about technology, so I choose the most expensive and durable. Recently bought a new graphics tablet for work from here https://www.worldoftablet.com/best-10-inch-tablets, ordered online because of the pandemic is generally unrealistic to buy something outside the walls of the house. I am very satisfied with the quality, I have already made several illustrations, it is simply gorgeous.

    I have to travel:

For short trips and with a lot of mobility it works well for me. But the screen is too small to only use its own screen for many days. In the end my neck hurts.

I'm thinking of buying a portable external screen that fits in my backpack. Do any of you have any experience?

    • Lenovo Thinkbook 13s - Cheap, matt screen (good in the sun), light, good battery, fingerprint scanner, spill proof / water resistant
    • Swap out the normal laptop charger for a 65W USB-C Power Delivery Charger (supports different voltages)
    • Moto G6 phone
    • Nintendo Switch
    • Kindle Paperwhite

All this kept the insurance low, meant we were not constantly worried about things getting lost or stolen and they all use the same single USB-C charger which saved a ton of space.
