For me, the #1 advantage of ConvertKit is that they're building for creators and I trust their leadership long term.

I've been running newsletters for 15 years and almost every other platform has eventually shifted from being a relatively generic newsletter platform to eventually picking a different core customer to focus on and screwing over the creators in the process. Drip hurt the worst, but it's only the most recent burn for me.

ConvertKit is the only option that I that I can tell has a clear focus on creators and creator success. The platform isn't perfect, none of them are! But I've seen Nathan handle mis-steps along the way with integrity, and trust him to make decisions in our community's best interest long term.

I have been using Hubspot and I love it for its simplicity. And, I also like Substack because it has a very simple interface.

I have been using SubStack for Micro SaaS HQ and I love it for its simplicity. Other than that, I also like BeeHiiv as a platform.

ConvertKit is a platform designed specifically for bloggers and content creators, and it offers advanced features like automation and tagging to help you segment your audience. It also offers a free plan for up to 1,000 subscribers.
