My client is going to be deploying in China, so Firebase Crashlytics appears to be off the table. Bonus points if it integrates well with React Native. Thanks!
Hi Josh, I know this is probably a little late of a reply but just came across when doing a search on Indie Hackers. Did you manage to find a tool for use?
If you're interested not too long ago I created my own lightweight and affordable crash and error monitoring tool that's cross platform. It has official libraries for Android Java and Kotlin as well as web technologies for PHP/Javascript etc.
I don't really know anything about React Native and how Android development is done with it, but if there needs to be a separate library as the the current Android ones can't work with react native, I can look at implementing it or there is a simple custom crash API for sending your own crashes if there's not an official library currently available.
Thanks for the reply! I've already finished with the client, and it turned out Crashlytics does work in China (along with Sentry, though that doesn't cover as much).

No worries. Thought I'd mention it. Never know. 😀
