What's your go-to project management tool?
I started building my website & app 1 year ago. It was pretty clear what needed to be done so each done I just put my head down and got to work.
But I've now reached the point in time where it's all about building my business.
That requires customer service, managing key contacts, organizing pitches, events, content production, bug fixes, etc, etc etc. The list never ends.
As such, I've really started diving into project management tools, and I think I found a pretty great one in Asana. Before I get too far down the Asana rabbit hole though, I'd love to know what you're using and why it works for you?

We use Restyaboard, another good open source project management tool that uses simple boards, lists, and cards to give teams a fun way to manage projects.

I love Notion. I have all my pages, processes and systems set up in there. So I always know what goals & projects I need to be working on.
I used to use Trello but found it somewhat limited and they had a spat of regular downtime. I use clubhouse.io now, soon to be renamed to shortcuts.
Just checked it out. The UX looks exactly like Asana, is Shortcut moreso aimed at software dev ?
Not aware of it being focussed for software dev, just a project management tool. Although I do use it for software/web dev and find it work really well.
I do like the idea of having milestones and epics within those, that part is pretty clever.

I keep it simple with Trello - and GitHub/GitLab issues.
This is my go-to as well. Trello is just so easy to use and allows me to get into the weeds if I want to.
Good call. No need to overcomplicate these things. If you do, you end up losing interest in the tool and it becomes an endless list of tasks you'll never do.
After trying out Monay.com, Basecamp, Trello, Zoho, Asana and several other, I opted for Asana and I love it!
I'm loving it as well so far. So much to it, yet if you get it set up right it's incredibly intuitive and versatile.
