What's your go to resource for early growth

Hi

I'm trying to get a bootstrapped business for a while and I'm always stuck on getting my first customers.

I don't think my products are the issue since it's hard for me to get people on my site. So I want to educate myself more about the different tactics and ideally understand the playbook.

Is there a good resource with a playbook that go more in depth then just "find your customers on reddit/FB"?

I mean, how do you post on reddit without getting blocked?
How do you build an audience?
How do you write a good blog post?
How do you bring traffic to your blog post?

Something assuming 0 social presence. Is there any course/book/article that fits this description?

30x500 sounds like a great fit but a bit to expensive for me. Looking for the $30 version :)

@casino When I was building the building the initial audience for my product ruttl, here's what worked for me -

    1. Posting and engaging on communities like IH
    2. Spreading the product word through specific hashtags on Twitter
    3. Email marketing to waitlisted audience and to get them to spread the word

Also, if you wanna bring traffic to the blog, share it here with the indiehackers along with extra value that you can teach them! We love reading stuff that can help us grow further haha!

Hey Robert, if it's hard for you to drive traffic to your product you probably need to get better at marketing. I run a free newsletter with 5-minute read marketing case studies on how I’d grow new websites that you might find helpful.

Please answer the question than selling your product.

I'm not selling anything. I linked to my newsletter only because it's exactly what he asked: a resource for early growth.

Bram Kanstein (@bramk) created a great free resource overview some time ago 👉 https://roadtoscale.com/. There's lot's of great inspiration to be found there for each stage of your startup's growth.

To be honest, though, building an audience is a process that starts waaay before you ever starting to build any product... you see an audience for a new product/brand takes indeed time to build. But products and brands are first and foremost made by people.

You need to leverage your personal brand and all the hard work you've been accumulating all these years online.

Be sure to check out the overview from Bram though, it's a great start (and free)

Hi Robert, I faced the same issue and in my case I settled for Twitter.
I wrote a Playbook to Grow an Audience Organically, is FREE.
Daniel Vasallo has a paid course that costs around $20.
