I believe firmly that winning the morning helps you win the day.
So I'm curious, what does your morning routine look like and what is the most important part of it?
A breakdown of mine:
5:30am (I'm in bed by 9pm most nights, I like 8 hours of sleep 😂)
I use the Philips light alarm and alarmy app to get my ass out of bed
Stretch and roll out (I use a friend's routine)

Workout (Focus T25 ftw)
Stretch chest and shoulders (this is big for someone who spends all day at a desk)
Breakfast (protein shake, egg, and oatmeal with berries)
Shower
Meditate 10min
Journal (write about anything on my mind, progress made since yesterday, cool things/people, issues, counters to issues, three goals for the day, and small tasks)
Prayer (I've got a running list of people)
Read bible and whatever design/business book I'm on
Work on personal project for 30-60min
I'm done between 9 and 9:30am.
Of all my steps, I think the workout is most important. If I don't break a sweat in the morning, my day feels more hectic.
Would love to hear everyone else's practices!
My morning routine is pretty simple: I wake up, grab a cup of coffee, and head to the living room to watch Netflix.
The first thing I do when I get up is check my phone—I love seeing what's going on in the world before I even get dressed. Then, I make myself some coffee (my favorite mug is this one), and settle down in front of the TV for a little bit of time to myself before it's time for me to start getting ready for work.
I always love having a little bit of quiet time with myself before the day starts, so when I'm not at work or out of the house, that's what I like doing most mornings!
That sounds really relaxing haha. I sometimes envy the ritual of coffee, but then I get reminded of how intensely I react to caffeine 😂

I’m not sure how to respond haha, are you critiquing the routine and saying what you do is more effective?
