What's your opinion on dark-mode? Here's why I made Pubbit dark-mode. Looking for feedback!
When you're assaulted with the familiar questions of theme, composition, color, or fonts, dark-mode lightens the load. It forces you to stick to about 3 shades of dark-gray and one primary color, so you can give more thought to the other parts of the design.
If you're making a landing page soon, I recommend just going with dark-mode until you stumble upon a better color scheme. I am concerned about readability though, so I would appreciate some feedback. That may be a reason dark-mode theme websites are a minority...

Based on what i've googled/youtubed in my spare time, Dark Mode is a huge trend in 2020 and more apps/websites are hopping on the train. I work for a mobile dev team and we track darkmode users for our app, and it's been steadily growing as more users find out about it.
Regarding your landing page, I love the illustrations and minimalist style. On the other hand, I don't feel like it's "dark" enough. True darkmode websites/apps feel darker than yours. Also I don't think the font works well with the overall look and feel.
This is better than anything I've built; take pride in being able to release something like this!

I agree with how it doesn't feel dark enough. I think I may bring the background a bit darker. It's in a weird middle limbo.
I also thought about the text and realized it'd be better without any black - as I looked around it's hard to say any other dark theme uses dark text.
The font feedback is especially interesting to me, I'm glad you pointed that out. Additional research on fonts is now in the task queue. As an aside, it always seems the fonts people use are bought. Let me know if you have any pointers on fonts :)

I wish I knew more about fonts, sorry. But the font you used in the website just felt out of place in my opinion.
