Oh wow! I've been just been "rebranding" my own personal space to be a hub of all the things I do, but I have a long weekend of thinking how exactly I can communicate the point, why visiting / signing up / following me / whatever would add value to you.
Your "I'm gonna make a business that will be making $300,000/year" mission is eye-catching and easy to resonate with, while allowing you so much space with what the content will be! Brilliant.
Your copy needs tightening, but that's just more content! Like, you can make a podcast episode of how you consulted people and metrics to find the best CTA. (The about section has a date missing for "now on the (?)" and quite a few spelling mistakes, but I imagine the "tone" can be tweaked as well, not just proof-reading).
YouTube episode on how you set up a photoshoot for pictures that would be cleaner on a dark background!

Pitch on the premise:
People who know or follow me on the gram and whatnot, see me as a person who is successful and lives in a nice posh flat, while not killing myself with work and over-stress. Some reach out to tell me how stressed they are!
I also know that lots of colleagues appreciate the Code Sandboxes I often create and share with them to share a new library, or highlight a problem we had that week.
I know I can help both of those types of audiences, but how do I convince them I can? A newsletter where I share a Coding Challenge at the start on the month, then discuss solutions, and stream me solving it live at the end of the month could be a possible play.
Then again, I do think there's something in how even though my "career success" is as a software engineer, my life isn't coding all the time! So maybe a "success without sacrifice" type of newsletter will be of interest. But how long I can keep that theme going, before becoming "oh, Johnny is talking about the Pomodoro technique again". "Top 7 ways to paraphrase the 4-hour work week to amaze your audiences!"
And again, how do I convince strangers on the internets I can help with these things? One thing to convince colleagues that know how you work, another to convince friends that have seeen you having a laugh doing tricks on a balance board on the balcony, another strangers who could rightly think "great, another guy who thinks he's got it all figured out!"
The newsletter itself is just something that only came up a couple days ago when I saw discussion on https://substack.com/ here on Indie Hackers! Maybe focusing on website content distributed on other ways, like streaming and podcasting is actually the way to go.
So... lots of thinking happening this long weekend on this, while also appreciating the sun and FFVII 😁 And I'd appreciate any feedback and advice here!

What do you mean?
Do you manually create an component for each blogpost or you have some hosting system for your articles?
I have a "template" for how the Post will look like. When I finish wiritng a post I just add it to my content folder (as an md file) and git push. 2 minutes later post appears on my site.

I'm actually wanting to do a revamp because my blog is about creative coding and on my website I describe myself as a UI/Game Developer. These days I am a full stack developer by day and a bunch of random things at night from blogger to game developer to creative coder. I think creative coder sums things up better and also stays in tune with my blog so probably will update that soon.
Besides my blog, the rest of my site is a 1 page site where the portfolio items pop up as overlays. I wanted a portfolio that would be easy for me to edit and sufficiently minimalist so that it didn't look overwhelming. I really struggled with writing the "About Me" at the bottom because its constantly changing with my interests and updating it every week is pretty tedious.
Another thing I am on the fence about is my blog design. I thought about using the same dark theme as my website but I worried about readability so I decided to go with a contrast approach where my blog is white and my site is black. Anyway I could ramble on about the imperfections and what I want to change forever but at the end of the day its always a work in progress.
Thanks for sharing. I like your blog, I was actually considering creative coding for my artistic outlet. But then stumbled upon Lens Studio by Snapchat. I don't know if that's sort of your thing, but maybe you'll like creating there too

Its amazing for a non-coder like myself. Most of what you see I stole from one of their templates. I think I paid like $40 for the template then customized via drag and drop. There is a bit of a learning curve and it does not automatically make your site responsive like perhaps a landing page builder or Square. But it works great since I need not manage any code, upgrades or plugins. Happy to help if you decide to take that route lmk.
