What's your solo dev entrepreneur strategy?

As a solo dev entrepreneur, what is your strategy for building products? How do you mitigate the weakness of doing it alone and stay ahead of the competition?

i.e) Like nomadlist, do you only make products with network effects?

This is the only thing I could think of right now, that would be the best for an indie hacker. If there is another way please let me know.
