In my case, I build the mvp or the sign up page of the product. Then I show it to the potential customers, if I don't get any feedback or huge sign ups, I conclude that the product will not succeed. And then I pivot and move onto another idea. Do you think this is a good idea or not? Thanks.
I think you are concluding too soon. What if the product is the right product but you have identified the wrong potential customers? It's easy to think we know who the customers are, but can quite often be wrong.
And don't just judge based on reaction to sign-up page or the product... what's the reaction to problem you are solving?
