Hi indie hackers,
Earlier this year my co-founder and I started bootstrapping Floq (www.gofloq.com), an super easy coordination tool for hybrid teams that lives within Slack. We are still in private beta, but start planning our public launch. Obviously, Product Hunt comes into play now.
Does anyone have any best practices when it comes to timing the launch? Should you do it once the product is still in private beta or only once it is publicly available?
Thanks a lot!!
Focus on product, if you already have customers spend all your time building a product they love to talk about.
Once you have that down, focus on the landing page then if you have good conversions launch on PH.
thanks for the input, that definitely makes sense! regarding conversion: what's "good conversion" for you in numbers?
Really depends.
I would say anything between 0.5%-3% is good for organic traffic.
The higher the traffic the lower the conversions usually. It is a game of improving conversions, driving more traffic, then conversions drop rinse and repeat.
Cool thanks!
Really interested on the answer to this question too!
