When is the right time to start charging user?

Hi,

I have a roommate finder platform. I launched it one year ago for my local market and now it has around 150 visitors/day. I charge them when they want to access messages, phone numbers, and social media profiles. It is too early? Should I remove charging and wait until it grows more?

Thank you!

It's never too early to talk to your customers and find out what their expectations are. If people are paying, ask them why they paid. If nobody is paying, ask them why not ;)

    Ideally, before you build product.

At Flurly, we've certainly been a positive case of having increased growth in exchange for less profit. YMMV, but I personally think you'll grow more by removing paywalls. People like free :)

@Flurly I was thinking too that free access will help the platform grow more, people will recommend it easily. Thank you for your answer!
