when to keep things minimal for landing page

https://persable.com/

I'm just starting to work on a product and I'm trying to balance too much info vs too little info for landing page - I'm in the "waiting list" mode, and while I have mockups, I dont want to add them to the site; nor do I want to add pricing

The landing page is https://persable.com/

Should I forget about what I dont want to do, and build it out completely as if it was a launched product? or should I keep it like it is - maybe tidy up a few things?

My goal is to get more people into a non-paid pilot at this moment.

People's attention spans are short. The less text the better. Also, best to have a clear call to action be one of the first things they see. For you, that would mean moving the email opt in "above the fold".
Landing pages deserve minimum effort. Focus on building your product.

🤔 I actually really disagree with the sentiment that minimum effort should be put into your landing page. In my humble opinion, your landing page should be created in full, with mockups, your best effort at messaging, and should really be selling your product. Otherwise, why would anyone want to sign up prelaunch?

If a user visits your site, would they be more convinced to share their email address by

      A. A page that is very short, with little details and just the main ideas, no mockups, and a few bullet points, that looks like minimum effort was put in.

      Or

      B. A page that is long, with every benefit listed, and details on how to product will help achieve that benefit, and mockups to explain the interface and how the product looks. And that looks like it was made by someone who is highly motivated to make the product great.

I don't mean to disparage the commenter - I could definitely be wrong! But IMO the success of your pre-launch page should determine whether or not you should even built the product at all. So it's worth putting time in to make sure it's doing the best job it can. To me the landing page reflects the product, so a landing page that looks like minimal effort was put in implies a minimal effort product.
