When to monetize content sites

Hey all. Over the last 6 months I've been building traffic to a site I've built that reviews business software (starting in the HRTech vertical) - https://selectsoftwarereviews.com.

I'm not at the phase where I want to start monetizing. I'm curious if anyone here has experience monetizing content sites and had insights into what revenue model may make the most sense (flat fee for branded profiles, CPC, CPA (demo or sale)).

I'm also curious if there are any rules of thumb for when to monetize, especially when the advertising relationships need to be built on a one off basis (versus plugging into Amazon's affiliate program).
