When was the last time you heard, “Is this the latest version”?
As a product designer who has worked on a bunch of product teams, Unfortunately, I've heard this question A LOT.
When a product manager needs to present a progress report or a feature idea to stakeholders, the first question is typically, "Is this the latest version?".
When a developer is about to start bringing life to a product design, the first question is typically, "Is this the latest version?".
You get the point... This question is asked a lot.
Manual systems are invented to "lock" finalised screens within Figma and Adobe XD and any other tool being used. But unless everyone on the team (including external stakeholders) is happy digging around a design tool, you have a problem.
Part of the reason I started designing Feature Flux was to remove the eternal question, "Is this the latest version?". As completion of the beta draws near, I wanted to share a quick unedited video of how the screen (design) lock feature works.
