When would you consider idea validated?

So here's my situation currently.

I'm creating an application that creates digital niche products. These products are very specific and only relevant to people who are already searching for this.

Therefore marketing will have to be SEO, quora answers, maybe Reddit answers and anything else we'll be testing in the future.

I've developed MVP, launched google AdWords, and got 1 sale and have sunk 50$ into ads. Obviously it's not profitable and obviously I have no idea how to do ads.

Because organic sales from marketing will take time, especially because it will all have to be through a search I have a question:

How many sales do I need to get through ads to confirm that I should continue working on the application at least for 3 months to see if there are any results from the organic search we can produce.

Thanks!

It seems to me you are validating the idea through sales. Why is that? (Correct me, if I am wrong.)

As far as I know and as I currently did the experiment with my MVP, My goal was to find people who face the problem or not around which I am developing my product. I did it using landing page and normal promotion on social media.

From the results of experiment, I can devise whether the idea is validated or not.

Hi! Hard to say, it really depends:
) Are you clearly defined the audience with the problem you are fixing?
    2) Who is your competitors? Market size? ( I know, it is marketing Words, but still...)
    3) how is your ads look like?
    4) Did you try any other channels? (Ads usually very competitive, so CAC is high)
You can DM me so I can provide you with sort of info
