Hey All!
I'm struggling through several iterations of the landing page for my startup.
We help artists monetise their livestream events online. Giving them the simplest way to manage livestream video and ticketing together.
I love the platform, I use it myself for client livestreams. It's super fast, takes seconds to set up an event and start selling tickets, connects with the clients bank account through stripe and gives you ticket sales payouts daily.
All of the platforms current customers have been earned through word of mouth. I want more people to experience it and that means getting more people past the landing page and onto the free trial.
What could i be doing better here to optimise landing page conversions?
Kind regards,
My biggest concern with your site is that it's not immediate what you're selling, you're trying to bundle too much together, instead you should focus on 1 thing and then give additional benefits.
And I would make sure that 1 thing you're selling is a real problem folks have.
good luck though!
I think re-structuring and adding some explanation about what the product does early on the page may help. Right now you jump directly to user testimonials, but what do your users really recommend is not clear to a first-time visitor. Also, maybe show your interface on the page. Some people evaluate if the tool is easy to use before even committing to a demo.
Another option might be to have a free version that has a watermark - most of the video platforms like Zoom have one
👋
One thing that jumped out to me when I looked at your landing page is: what exactly is Venuo?
A few suggestions that could help:
Many times, people don't want to try out things, give personal info, or start a free trial without knowing what they're getting out of it. I think this would really help potential users envision their own experience with Venuo.
Also - is it possible that you aren't marketing it enough? In my own experience, marketing is definitely the most difficult part and an ongoing effort!
Thanks! Thats a really good point on marketing -
I'm planning to do some demo and instructional videos on the platform. I like how you have that on your startups landing page, its really good and gives a lot of information quickly.
Hi Tom.
Without repeating too much of what others have said here already, my initial impressions are:
That hero background image is lovely - but what does it have to do with the problem?
Set out your stall quickly. Your tagline explains what your product offers, but not really as part of a value proposition. Speak to your existing customers - find out what part of "the stress" your product solves and hone-in on that in your website copy. See Customer Camp's Clarity Call cheatsheets for guidance on how to do that effectively: https://customercamp.co/claritycalls/
All of your features and benefits are in those boxes. This makes them easy to skip over and ignore. I would change these into vertical lists of 3, with the most important first.
The language is OK, but it's only OK. You could sharpen it to make it more interesting, e.g. "What We Do For You" could become "What makes Venuo different?" - a more natural question that's likely to be in the mind of the reader. "No Pricing Calculator. We Keep It Simple." -> "No hidden fees - straightforward pricing" (I find Those Capitalised Words really jarring, too).
What about the product saves the user time over the alternative? What saves them money? Make these clear.
When I sign up, what do I get? What does life look like for me then? Can I try a short event for free? I don't know, because there's no FAQ.
Change the font. I like the relaxed, easy-going style of the background and the palette, but as you're using "system UI" as the font preference, the relatively straight-laced font on my Mac seems to conflict. Try specifying a rounded sans-serif font.
Positives:
The site loads quickly.
There's no shortage of CTAs, so the interested reader will know how to get started.
Happy to take another look later on or help further if I can. I have other thoughts to improve the site, but these are the most urgent ones.
Wow, awesome feedback.
I have made a couple small adjustments, mainly to layout, added some visual content too. I have not tackled the text too much yet. What do you think?

This is a lot better, good work. The hero section is much stronger. I really like the images and video that now accompany each feature you want to talk about. Consider framing these in terms of the benefits they offer the user instead though.
Things that still irk me:
Embedable -> Embeddable
"Our Users Recommend Us" - again, think what would be in the user's mind at this point. It would be something more like "Who uses Venuo?" - put that. The current title feels more staged (I mean I know it's your brochure site, but this bit should try to be impartial).
I'm not a fan of those self-changing testimonials. By all means have 3 random testimonials showing on a page load, but the switching is distracting, and frustrating if I'm half-way through reading one when it decides to flip.
Who moderates the moderated chat? It's not clear.
I think the support feature section is weak - I'd just kill that off. Every product comes with support. Is it really 24/7?
"We charge you less" - how are you qualifying this? Less than what?
I looked at your landing page for a few seconds and have no idea what you are selling.
What does this mean? Is it a competitor to Twitch? Is it a broadcasting platform like OBS? Is it a better way to watch Netflix?
What does it mean to manage video? How do I "manage monetization"? Bandwidth for what, watching videos? Distributing them? "Daily payouts" only tells me that money is involved and either you can pay your audience or your audience can pay you, but this is true for most services.
Overall, I would explain more directly, without buzzwords, what the product does and how it can help me.
