Where can i get some good ideas to start a project
I briefly tried some projects but quickly gave up because I found out that there were already similar projects and they did a good job.
I hope to get some inspiration from some places, I need everyone's experience, thank you very much.

Infact it's a good sign if there are profitable players already executing the same idea. See to fine tune it based on comments from unhappy users. You can find the reviews from a lot of sites like G2, Capterra etc.
First of all, just because there are good projects in a particular market, doesn't mean that it's not a good project to pursue! Someone's already done the market validation for you.

One of my favorite resources is from Courtland, i.e., his post on how to brainstorm great business ideas actually.
I've been ideating a lot over the past few months. I tried all possible ways and found that the following idea/problem generating channels worked best for me.
Look through their features. Usually you can combine a few of them into a separate niche product.
Another way would be to find a way to simplify their functionality. For example, CRMs, such as Bitrix, have sooo many features that 90% of SMB users (managers) don't know how to properly use or don't use at all.
You can also win by simplifying UI and make joyful user experience. Sometimes there's just too much going on on the screen. Some workflows are a nightmare.
Find tools from p.1 or any other tool in any niche you want to dive into. Sort by reviews that have less than 3 stars. Read through them. Focus on those that are most recent, but also keep an eye on older ones.
Make a list of all things you noticed. Group them. Sort them by priority. Think of what you can do about it to build a better product.
But please keep in mind that it's not that easy to just fix problems you found in reviews. I bet your competitors do the same and they have more resources than you.
You got to offer something to the table. Think what exactly that can be. What is your advantage?
The thing is that your software got to offer something that is peculiar to your community or country. For example, a SaaS for lawyers as law is tied to a country / jurisdiction.
Think of local industries that are underserved. It's important to offer an unfair advantage in a form of something that intersects with things peculiar to your area. Otherwise, local businesses could use a product that was created outside of your community, but that fits their needs.
I will give you a sneak peek at some ideas I noticed here on IH.
People here are mostly looking for feedback, early users and idea validation. The majority is not great at marketing, but outsourcing marketing is almost never cheap.
Do you have an idea of a product that can solve it? For example, find a better way to exchange feedback.
Another example is Reddit. Reddit has some subreddits that are highly active, supportive and dive into many problems people experience here and there. For example, lots of feedback on awful job search experience.
Another suggestion would be to check out products that got recently funded. Investors calculate a shit ton of risks prior to giving their money. 90% of them never get their money back.
Therefore, if investors think that a particular product is a promising one that can sustain existing competition and crisis, you can definitely make use of such info.

On the contrary, some projects are working on the idea means that there is already a market. If you can differentiate yourself, you can get a slice of the cake
Google wasn't something new when they started. There was yahoo, aol, etc before google

My hack for finding ideas you will actually execute and ship.
Read Mom test. Then go and solve the biggest problem you're having that can be fixed with tech.
While doing that you will find out if the problem is worth solving or you find a problem that is.

I would say, scratching your own itch is the best way to get project ideas. There are a lot of problems or inefficient things that you hope worked some other way. That will give you a great starting point.
For eg: I always find it easier to communicate and learn from others on zoom calls or google meets. That's why I'll be building a product that lists people who want to meet new people on zoom calls or google meets. Helps to network better and build a great relationship with people with similar passions.

Think like a common professionals in specific job role and try to find out problems and then try to solve that problem with your ideas in minds.
The perfect project ideas come from closest problems. Investigate strugglings of your friends and families and maybe you can create a platform to solve them.
There ARE competitors for every single idea, trust me. Nowadays it's not enough to find a good idea, it should be different from the existing products, or better. So, I would suggest finding an idea that resonates with you somehow and seeing what solutions already exist. If there are not tons of them you can give this idea a shot. Monitor social networks and reviews to see what their user complain about, and use it as a start point.

First of all, there are very few chances you come up with an original idea, unless you built on web3 where everything needs to be done.
Also, you might not want an original idea. An original idea doesn't mean the market will want it, and maybe that's the reason it has never been done before.
The best projects you can build are tools that solve some problem, or do things in a better way, or easier way than other tools. Many people are frustrated about something when they use one of those most famous apps or services. Pic an industry you have an affinity with, and check the forum about what people complain about.
You might even have some hobbies and sometimes get frustrated something is too complicated to use or that you need to use 2 or 3 products to do one thing.
You can also go down some niches, take a product that already exists, and target Chinese speaking audience for example.

There are mulitple things you can do to find ideas:
Copy other SaaS product, but make sure you do at least 1 thing better.
Search for SaaS reviews and see what can be improved, then build that.
Don't look for ideas, look for problems and figure out how to solve them.

Ideas are easy, executing them is hard. I can almost guarantee that whatever you were working on before you could grind through the challenges to make it work. Competitors are a sign it's profitable. What about the same company but different location or positioned to a different demographic or change the pricing model or marketing.
Any new idea is gonna be like that.
