Where did you find beta users?

Hi indiechakers,

I've been preparing for the Misakey's launch for a while now.

And finally ... A big milestone is reached. Our product has been in beta today !

However, it's really hard to find relevant channels to looks for beta testers!

I know it's an important step. Can I ask you how you'd find your beta users?
Or did anyone found relevant to skip it? If so, why?

Let's share our experiences!

ps : If some of you want to participate, it's here : https://www.misakey.com/
You can join the early birds community and ask for the code to be betatester :).

Following the thread as I'm super interested.

I'm adding this AWESOME directory of 150+ places to post your project.
It includes a lot of place for Betatester. (Thanks to Xavier Coiffard!)

Most of the places are free and very few are paid.

    Hope it helps 🔥

I recommend BetaList, we got 35 sign ups for our OneGlimpse beta since our post was published. You have to wait a long time though before your start-up gets published, we'd been waiting for 2 months. Or you can pay 200 $ to get published immediately but we didn't want to do that. 🤷

    • BetaList
    • Here
    • Product Hunt
    • Facebook Groups
    • Twitter search (search for phraes like "secure way to")
    • Privacy-based communities
(see the link in my profile bio, I have more channels there)

Heck, even try to make an angle and pitching some journalists who write about privacy/security, explaining your unique value prop.

      Hi zerotousers,
Thanks for tips and for the channels.
I also saw Betafy. Do you think it's relevant or we should only look for people interested about the privacy/security?
