Where did you unexpectedly find an interesting software marketplace?

Hi there! I was wondering whether any of you have come across a software marketplace with more potential than you had initially anticipated. Several years ago, I was impressed by the revenue Shopify apps could generate. This sounds kind of obvious today, but it was quite surprising back then from the perspective of a naive developer without experience on ecommerce 😀
